A total of 200 million $WHY has been allocated for rewards this year, which corresponds to rewards of 3.8 million $WHY that will be distributed among the community every week.

The evolution of rewards will mirror the development of the #WhyNot ecosystem. As more activities are added, the allocation within them will be adjusted accordingly.

Everything will always be announced in advance and also updated here to reflect the current situation.

WhyNot Rewards APYs

APY stands for Annual Percentage Yield. It is the real rate of return you can expect to earn on an investment or savings account over a one-year period, taking into account the effect of compounding interest.

It's always good to know how much you can earn, so until we figure out a way to display the APY in real-time, we will at least publish an approximate APY here on a weekly basis.

It will be calculated based on: APY = (1 + r/n)^n - 1

• r = the stated annual interest rate (200M/Total $WHY Staked)

• n = 52 (the number of compounding periods per year)
